G'day y'all. It has been a while since I last posted. We are nearly into April 2019 - the year is getting away. Since January, I have completed the Klose CLT Training Course and passed the CLT-LANA examination. What does this mean? I have refreshed my lymphedema treatment skills, and have a certified level of knowledge in the USA, demonstrating that I know a little (or a lot) about lymphedema. I say a little, because there is so much more to be learned about this condition. I have also joined the American Vein and Lymphatic Society - as vascular medicine has realised that there is another system, the Lymphatic System, that is an integral part of the body's fluid balance system that needs to be supported and understood. I look forward to attending a couple more conferences this year - Klose in May in Denver, LEARN in Austin in May/June, and ILF in Chicago in June. Clinically, I am busy with providing in-office and in-home treatment sessions, primarily for oncology massage, relaxation massage and lymphedema treatment. So, I am keeping out of mischief, feeling very fit, and spending as much time with my family as I can along with supporting the clients and families that I come into contact with day to day.
