It's breast cancer awareness month

October is breast cancer awareness month. I am too aware that this type of cancer is all too common, having friends and loved ones being diagnosed and going through the rigorous treatments for it. And then there are the side effects to treatment. As a therapist (physio and massage), I am willing and able to help ladies (and gentlemen) recover from their treatment and manage/improve the residual side effects. Tomorrow I will be participating in our community health and fitness fair, and have just received a shipment of my new stress/massage balls. I will be promoting my home visit service, and teaching people about the benefits of massage and exercise in their wellness programs. Let me know if you'd like a pink ball too!! These balls are great to help with draining lymph nodes all over the body - and getting some hand exercise and stress relief.
